Startling Facts !
A rather different type of analytical book "Jewish Origins" 2007 "An Ancient & Modern Review of the Old Testament" The author takes the Old Testament and unravels its special history in a rather light hearted yet detailed manner, and supported by the backing of the Old Testament King James version. The conclusions are that the Jews fulfilled NONE of the obligations of the Abrahamic Covenant, and so, therefore, forego their seemingly eternal claim to that "Promised Land". The author also suggests that the troubles of the Jews are self-inflicted by their own false claims, and that too, is clearly forewarned in the Old Testament.

Having read this new book, with all its backing of the quoted passages from the Old Testament, it makes one wonder how this conclusion could have escaped us for so long across so many generations.

The recently published book Jewish Origins raises a real problem for the Middle Eastern fracas - if it is true. Apparently, the hebrews were not given "the promised land" without the fulfilling of certain obligations, and it seems in which they failed to do so: therefore they have no entitlement to the land of Palestine. Having read this book it seems the author has made his case - though I have never read the Old Testament, or part of it, before, having tended to accept the hearsay stories as correct, as so many others must have done. I can comment no more, except to offer: if it is true, it is so serious as to throw dark shadows of doubt upon many religious and governmental institutions throughout the world

How many laymen read through the Old Testament leave alone study it? This book "Jewish Origins" which i found and downloaded at http://www.worldwidebooks.net presents a rather contrary analysis, looking at the King James bible version. The comments are quite at odds with those recieved at Sunday School or Church, yet they seem to be supported by many numerous quotes from the Old Testament.

How do we people of the world deal with a belief or factual change such as this?
